Bose had an electromagnetic suspension set up that was so capable a vehicle like the Lexus LS stayed completely flat through ALL maneuvers. Not only that, the suspension was able to squat down and spring up with enough force to catapult the vehicle over obstacles while driving on flat pavement.
Unfortunately, Dr. Bose’s suspension was just too heavy and expensive to make it into commercial vehicles. However, Bose did end up making a chair for truckers, which is nice! Here’s hoping the future will find room for this type of technology. I’m thinking this blends everything a Cadillac was with what it wants to be. Next gen CT5-V and Escalade, please! I love it when the sound guys branch out, it’s always awesome!!

I remember this video. I love the LS400 and would totally like to see how those would compare doing hot laps.

Yeah, that’s awesome! Bose actually doing something good instead of lame-ass cheap overpriced speakers and radios.
I’m also surprised Tesla doesn’t use something like that. The patents are expired by now.

Reminds me of the hydropneumatic suspension on Citroëns. Such technology saved a French president’s life, set records on the elk test and made for some really good ride comfort. This Bose system seems to be on a similar level, I’d love to see something like it in the future.

A friend met one of the engineers. What is nuts is how the guys worked out of one of their garages every Friday because they didn't want anyone else in the company knowing what was going on.

I would totally let them use my LS400 if they want to try this again.
